As a content producer and strategist, COVID-19 has presenting many challenges. Chief among them is how to visually convey stories without the use of in-person photography of the subjects or events described. Stock photos or illustrations are always an option, but editorial illustrations seem to have more visual appeal.
Another recent development in my workflow is the addition of Canva as a graphic design tool. While it is not as powerful as Photoshop, it is more lightweight and intuitive. It democratizes graphic design in a way that is empowering to content team members who may not have deep Adobe CC familiarity, or access to the suite.
